You can initiate deletion of your FoCoCo account and associated personal data from within the mobile app and WebApp. A public web deletion route must also remain available at https://www.fococo.ai/delete-account.
1. In-app deletion
- Open Profile or Settings.
- Choose Account, then Delete My Account.
- Review the consequences and confirm the request.
- Complete any identity-verification step shown.
2. Web request
If you cannot access the app, submit the deletion form at https://www.fococo.ai/delete-account or email privacy@fococo.ai from the address connected to the account. Do not send passwords.
3. What deletion does
- Ends access to the FoCoCo account.
- Deletes or irreversibly de-identifies profile data, rounds, CoachTalk history, GameTrust history, saved sessions, transcripts, personalization memory and other account content, except information we must retain.
- Removes data from active systems after verification and processing. Residual encrypted backups are removed through the ordinary backup cycle, normally within 90 days.
- Does not recall information already irreversibly anonymized and no longer linked to you.
4. Information we may retain
FoCoCo may retain limited transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, legal-claim or security records where required or permitted by law. Retained information is restricted to the purpose requiring retention.
5. Subscription warning
Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel that subscription in the relevant store settings first. Web subscriptions should be cancelled in the FoCoCo account or Stripe customer portal. Deletion does not itself create a refund right.
6. Timing
FoCoCo will normally complete a verified deletion request without undue delay and within 30 days. Complex or legally restricted requests may take longer, in which case we will explain the reason and expected timing.
7. Irreversibility
After deletion is completed, account content and personalization cannot be restored. Download any information you wish to keep before confirming deletion.
